Dr. Bradley Nelson, a chiropractic doctor and energy healer, wrote the book, The Emotion Code in 2007. He said he believed it was channeled material. This original book of Dr. Nelson’s explains the basic understanding of how and why we trap emotions, and how this affects our subtle energy field. He has written other books since that go into more depth on some topics, and I believe others who channel have gotten information of their own. Afterall, if he got it from the collective, others have access to the same information. All others will have a slightly different understanding and use it in different ways. For example, Dr. Nelson uses magnets run down the governing vessel meridian (on the spine)- of course he would! He’s a chiropractor! My guides wanted me to use tuning forks. This guidance came after about a year of using the emotion code to help people with pain. As a massage therapist, this made sense to me. I discovered it has many uses, including changing how one perceives situations, as finding the underlying cause of a dis-ease, and as a personal growth tool.
The Emotion Code is based on the idea that emotional experiences, especially traumatic ones, can become trapped in the body. These trapped emotions are believed to linger in the energetic system, affecting our mental, emotional, and physical health. Dr. Nelson explains that these trapped emotions are like invisible forces that influence our behavior, health, and relationships, often without us even realizing it.
According to Dr. Nelson, when a person experiences strong emotions, particularly during traumatic or stressful events, their body can “store” these emotions. Over time, these trapped emotions can create blocks in the energy flow, leading to chronic conditions, emotional struggles, or even physical pain and disease.
How it Helps
1. Identifying Trapped Emotions: The first step in the Emotion Code is identifying the trapped emotions within a person’s energetic field. Dr. Nelson developed a technique called “muscle testing” (also known as applied kinesiology) to access this information. Muscle testing allows a practitioner to communicate with the subconscious mind and pinpoint the exact trapped emotions that need to be addressed. This is done by testing the strength of a muscle, which changes in response to various questions or stimuli. I found this could be influenced by outside forces, so I developed a way to use divining rods to find the emotions. It feels more solid to me. Let’s try this with someone…
2. Releasing Trapped Emotions: Once trapped emotions are identified, the next step is to release them. I believe the magnet method works, but those who experience the magnet treatment in my practice felt the tuning forks were gentle and more thorough. I actually suspect the intention of the practitioner and the willingness of the client is 99% of the therapy. If the emotion is difficult to release, I will also add in BioGeometry. More on that at a later date.
3. Emotional and Physical Healing: The Emotion Code works on the premise that emotions, when trapped, can create blockages in the body’s natural healing processes. By releasing these trapped emotions, the body can regain its natural energy flow, leading to improved physical health and emotional well-being. Many people report experiencing less anxiety, pain, and stress after the release of these emotions. Examples: Isaias
4. Better Relationships and Personal Growth: The Emotion Code can also help people improve their relationships. Trapped emotions often stem from past experiences, including childhood trauma or unresolved conflicts. These emotions can affect how we relate to others and even influence our behavior. By releasing these negative emotional patterns, individuals can experience greater harmony in their personal relationships and improve their overall emotional intelligence. Examples lady from Alaska, 8 year old foster child.
